Another Swallowtail card...

I told you it was going to become one of my favourites, and it has!

I find this stamp soo versatile- you can use it for anything, and change the way that you use it and colour schemes to suit any need.

This was another reverse embossing method; you emboss using a light coloured powder, then once it's been heated, you colour over it using inks and sponges.

You can see from the picture, I used 2 blues- darker in the middle and lighter around the outside.

To make this card, I used:

Island Indigo
Whisper White

Ink

Pool Party
Baja Breeze
Versamark Embossing

Pretty Petites SAB

Bitty Butterfly punch

Island Indigo Sycamore Street Ribbon SAB

Thank you...

Building my stockpile of cards before I go back to work, I decided on a simple thank you card, which I can then dish out if needed.

It took me about 15 minutes to make this one, and could so easily be reproduced in a number of different colours.

Here's another quick card using the beautiful Swallowtail stamp.

To make this card, I used:

Crumb Cake card stock
Whisper White card stock
Flower Trim
Linin Thread
Round Tab Punch
Swallowtail stamp
Vintage Verses stamp
Perfect Plum, Baja Breeze and Peach Parfait ink

Black and White Butterfly

I got lots of new goodies a while back, but the recent sun spurred me into a bit of a spring clean, so today is the first chance I've had to play around with my gorgeous new bits.

I've made a lovely monochrome card, using the new Swallowtail stamp, which I absolutely love.

It's really difficult to see in the picture, but I've double layered the right wing, and rather than using the basic black, I've created a smaller layer using basic grey ink.

To make this card, I used:

Basic black card stock
Whisper white card stock
Swallowtail Stamp
Basic black and grey ink
Wishes Your Way stamps
Pearl Basic Jewels
Word Window and Modern Label Punches
